Value of WWII .30 Carbine ammo?
Would appreciate any input/opinions as to the value of Lake City .30 carbine ammo in 50 rd boxes. Haven't seen it yet, but the gent who's selling it says the boxes are dated 1943/1944.
Thanks in advance for any help.

DECEASED
It depends on the condition of the cardboard and what is inside. Sometimes I've been scoring nice boxes, but the brass inside is starting to develop that green tinge! It's a problem, as I want to clean the brass but don't want to open the box to do it !!!!! See if you can get some pics of what he wants to sell. The box shape appears to have changed as the lot numbers increased. There are a few guys around who are interested in collecting info on this subject, I'm one. Cheers and Good Luck ! Mike.
