I want to remove the rear sight base from my SC so I can get it blued.
I stripped the sight and removed the tiny set screw in the base, then I Hammered it with a short dowel a few times to try to move it with no luck.
Before I BUBBA it and replace it with a new one is there a safe way to do it?
IT was rearseneled at SA and it looks like they reparked the barreled receiver with the sight base in place. The guts are all blue and look new. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
