    Here's a pic:
I kept the bull nosed Winchester 2 rivet handguard because I like the really deep channel in the top. Really helps me line up quickly.

I switched to a round Inland bolt assembly I had, and Type 6 slide. The ejection pattern was pitiful compared to the flat bolt and early slide, barely clearing the action even though I replaced the ejector spring. I replaced the type II ejector in the round bolt with a type I, and it is perfect now. It makes a neat pile about 4 o'clock behind my right shoulder.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Here's the muzzle of this Racker. The pencil line on the right side above the muzzle was 3/16" to the top edge, so the gap is almost 1/4 inch.

Have I mentioned that this is the best shooting carbine I have owned in 30 years? Well, except for a DCM Winchester with that ugly flip sight and barrel band I got in the early 80's. That was before I knew better and traded it for a different gun (Armalite 180, I think, or possibly a carbine with a bayonet lug. UGH I was stupid!) It shot a 2.5 inch group at 100 yards with it from a bench rest.
