Phil. one of the questions I asked the last "friendly" rep was if they were a publicly traded company. She put me on hold and asked her supervisor. I was told that they were a privately own company - even with the word "corporation" in their name. I did not pursue it because I was a bit, ahhh, (how do the french say it?) PI$$ED, and I knew that they probably had a recording on at that point. I sent the parts back (signature required) and I am just going to see if I get at least part of the money back. I know they are licensed out of NY and of course the delivery of parts kicks some of it to federal justidiction. Half the shipment was vis UPS and the other via USPS.
BUT - big BUT - this ain't no federal case. It was my fault for not reading and accepting exactly what every line said - I assumed and read into what was posted...
Now that "problem" in California??? I am starting to wonder with the volume of business if there may be a case of wire fraud or mail fraud.... one or two sells ain't worth the Fed's time... but that volume he is doing may just do it. Let's see if how more IP's worth $8,000 come out of there over the next few months.
