Greetings, all.
My name is Chris and I collect firearms.
I live in Central, Va. I currently own a 1.1-million s/n Springfield Garand
and a May 1944 Inland carbine I am 'restoring.' I have an interest in both WWI and WWII firearms.
I recently got burned in a purchase on another forum, and realized I don't know what I thought I knew about carbine parts, so I'm looking for a new venue with more respectable and knowledgable membership

Greetings
Hi,
Just reporting in. Some of you may know me from some other forums such as Weapons Online and WWII Re-enacting. If not I am a collector of WWI + WWII small arms and accessories - mostly British
WWII. The collection currently consists of 3 Bren guns, a Lanchester SMG, a Mauser Kar98K, 3 Lee-Enfield's, an Enfield P1914, an Enfield No.2 revolver and various accessories for the above. I'm currently concentrating on Brens.
Cheers to you all,
Mark

Renewed my membership here today.
I have owned a lot of various Mauser, SMLE, SKS and AK rifles, as well as a Hakim, a Garand and a M1
carbine. I now have an Ishy 2A1 and a Kar98 that was sporterized sometime in the 1960's, re-barelled in .308. I am getting a C&R this summer when I have a little more cash to spend.
I am 62, retired, a veteran of the Army 1968-1971, and I also like old top-break revolvers and just older guns in general.

new guy in town
I have been collecting various milsurp rifles for eight years or so and have recently started to focus on US arms.
I'm 30 and have been active duty for the last 12 years.
I was stationed overseas and traveled most of europe during my seven years there where seeing milsurps in the local museums peeked my interest and started my collecting.
thanks,
Mike

Hello New Member first time Post!
Hello everyone, I have been reading this interesting sight for a while but have never posted anything. My main interest are M1 Garands, M14/M1A
rifles, ordnance tools, gages and training aids. Thanks, Alaska Robert

New, Old Guy
I'm ropewalker1 and new to site. I've loved guns all My life. I think the FAL is
an Engineering marvel and a work of Art. I own two, both metric with Imbel
receivers, One has wood furniture and the other has synthetic furniture. I'm
sure I'll get around to posting pictures soon. I had a Winchester M1
Carbine
in mint condition. I had paid $300.00 for it and traded it for an Egyption FN 49
Sniper Rifle. The Grandaddy of the FAL. I have a Cobb MCR 300, in 30-06 Spr.
and am in the process of upgrading it. I have three AR-15 rifles. One Colt and
two Bushmasters. I have all the parts and accessories to build an M-24 SWS.
I have two Remington long actions and still considering Caliber. I have a few
Mauser action rifles. One in 30X338, one in 30-06 Spr., one in 308 Win. and
one not presently in use. I like US Optics, Leupold Mark 4's, and the older
Tasco Custom Shop scopes. That's My intro. Like Arnold Swartzenegger said
once, " stick around, I'll be back ".
P.S. I'm old, I'm used and some say I'm ugly, but I can still muster on short
notice.
