    I think I pulled the firing pin once since 198(?) on my first Chinese SKS. Otherwise, its only been on rustbuckets that other people owned, and not many of those...(Which is why I misremembered at first-it's been a while!) It's pretty doggone rugged and worry free w/just the tiniest bit of cleaning.
