The larger pics help with the detail, but there is not enough detailed info to justify what he wants as a starting bid. I states its a CMPicon, but doesn't state if it was a rack or a service grade. The listing of parts which lends to a strong probability that it is a total mixmaster. The stock does look good, but he shows only the right side plus the bull nose is in the shadows. Is he hiding gouges on the left side? The parts list shows that it probably went through a rebuild and the stock should have a rebuild stamp on the left side (again, not shown).

Give him credit for a parts list and large pics... loses brownie points for not stating CMP grade, limiting the number of pics, no internal pics, lot of "shadow" pics and no pics of the left side.

Look, I know I complain about alot of the GB posted carbines, but lets face it, these people are trying to SELL their weapons. There are 5 pages of carbines listed for auction right now. Most sellers frankly do a terrible job of presenting them in a way that the weapon can be fairly evaluated. Pictures usually suck and the descriptions are either misleading or show that the seller doesn't know much about how to describe the weapon.

In this case, the metal is probably not worth the $800 price (is it a service or rack???), but the stock is a selling point... but, again, he doesn't showcase the stock with lots of well-lit pics...

Charlie, we all know how you drool over stocks, so I guess it depends on how bad you want that piece of wood! LOL
