My 1st M1 - 5.4 million "Greek" (with pics)

Picked up an M1942 bayonet at the gun show a few weeks back. It's a cut-down 1943 American Fork & Hoe, also stamped AFH for the modification.

I always told myself I wanted an M1 bayonet and not a cut down 16"...but whoever did the work on this one did a beautiful job. The blade was so nice that I just had to get it instead of the crappier condition M1 that was the same price on the seller's table.



I know it's too early for my '54 Garand, but I like it!

Yesterday I also found a full 192 round Lake City ammo can in enbloc clips and bandoliers dated Jan. 1967. (9 months before I hit the scene!)
