TR, hey kid I'm thinking it stays the way it is.

Creeky joints? I'm running 5K races all summer. Personal best is under 23min. My main job is running operations and teaching classes at my 3 karate schools. I also still compete in karate tournaments at 60yr. old. Two years ago I got the urge to jump again and did 10 sky dives, one from 10 thousand feet.
I think most of that stuff is part of my therapy.

I'm putting you on the list of potenial buyers and I promise to take good care of the I.P.
    Happy fathers day to you.....Frank

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. I may be alone here, but I think any white bag carbine in the shape of this one (even if it wasn't IP) would be the ultimate find for most of us- short of an as issued early model (which most of us will never be able to afford). If it wasn't IP. I would have to shot it occasionally, using my CMPicon Inland as my main one...

Does Paul have a website? I want to drool and dream...

    :
I am only 58, but my numerous injuries and their attendant surgeries from 20 years of getting busted up as a cop leave me limited: one back rebuild (failed after 4 years), three shoulder rebuilds, 1 wrist rebuild, 2 ankle rebuilds, and now a pending knee rebuild have slowed me down. My son, a triathlete, is getting my wife and I set up with some good Trex or Electra bikes so we can do something active. Finally had to give up horses (endurance riding and team penning) and look for something kinder to the repairs. I want to be active, but the body won't cooperate!

RM, Paul is a good guy, likes to talk carbines and knows the subject. I will have to take time to attened a show that he sets up at. What a treat that would be! This I.P. going to stay the way it is. The stock is an unmarked birch pot belly, I thought it would be SA marked but can't find any stamps anywere. Everytime I look at it it seems to get better and better.....Frank

Brian thanks!!, it was fun and I got the bug out (no tandems). It was something I needed to do. Only about 40yr. between jumps, the grand kids even came and watch Grampa get a little crazy one day. 10 and one 'high' was the goal.....Frank

I used to do 10 to 15 tandems a day on the weekends, mixed in with a dozen or so AFF jumps and some fun jumps thrown in for good measure.

Retired? Well, 28 years in the military of which over 20 was active duty... Now a Govt employee (doing almost the same job I did on active duty) so I am living off of YOUR tax dollars - TWICE!

Tired? Most of those non-active duty years was spent in civ law enforcement; was married to EX-wife for 23 years (which was 22 years too long) and various other things that has me sick, lame AND lazy! I am told that I am aged beyond my years. I would quit my job and become permanent lazy, but I am so tired that I don't have the energy to lay around and do nothing all day!

Yea, you young old men keep going. Karate, skydiving, marathons, just wear yourself out.... I am saving all my energy for the REALLY important things left in life - guns and women chasing. And to think, my EX- said that I didn't have good priorities in life!

Put me on that "to sell to" list in a few years Frank.... Maybe your gun collection can help fund your retirement!
