Danish Eddystone: your opinion needed

Thanks again to you all; Mike, unfortunately I don't have at the moment a close pic of the stock tip (but I can ask for).
I just have these 3 more, I hope you can find out something by them.
About the price, strange enough the range is the same here: from 700 to 900... but euros (and M17's are rising: I bought a good one 3 years ago for 490). For this one the seller wants 700, which seems to me an honest price.
What do you think about the bluing?

The brass pin through the stock is a repair pin. Probably a crack inside the inletting. It's most likely a US military repair.

The rifle looks ok. Better than mine:-) And mine was a Danish Lend-lease with s/n stamped on the topside of the bolt handle. That's not USGI.

The brass pin is installed when the stock is made. It's not a repair. Every 1917 and P14 I've seen has a brass pin. FWIW

One of those things I looked right past on my own rifles. My P14 has it but I can't get to my M1917.

This one doesn't appear to have the brass pin.

Yep, looks like it had an R then was stamped over with an E. Don't understand why someone would do this. As pointed out before, the finger grooves do not match the Eddystone profile. Appears to have a Danish style front post sight. Is it being sold as all correct, or as a mixmaster/shooter?

Hi Trickster, it is being sold as "all correct", so I guess that someone restamped the stock to make it more interesting (and valuable). For my point of view, now she hasn't collectible value, isn't?

The Bolt cutout on the Eddystone stock is fairly distinctive, its very blocky whereas the Winchester and Remington stock cutouts were a scallop shape.
