I had to get away from guns and shooting a while back, life got into the way don't you know.
I am back now, and I have been reading articles here and elsewhere that 7.5 swiss brass is hard to find because most if not all is berdan primed.
I do not have access to all of my gun stuff right now, but I had a Schmidt-Ruben 7.5x55 about 35 years ago and it seems that I resized some brass, [I can't remember the caliber] and I reformed it to 7.5 specs. My memory went first and I can't remember what went second!!!
Surely someone else has heard of this or done it, I think I have some loaded rounds from years ago, still in that reformed brass. I will have to hunt it up
Just food for thought!!

OK, I went hunting and found the loaded rounds I had ratted away years ago.
I took some 284 Winchester brass and reformed it in 7.5 dies. I found several boxes I loaded in 1987, the box is marked "reloaded 5 times". I remember it working well. Now that I have a "new"K31 I will go to the range and give it a try again.
I find the RCBS Berdan tool is the fastest way to de-primed the brass.
Hardest part is to adjust the punch part for the proper length needed for that case diameter.
Once done, your sailing.
Repriming is best done with a hand tool since the the RWS 5620 are shorter than the primer hole. Seat slightly below flush.
I was fumbling with the second case because I was trying to see throuh the view-finder.
Grafs recently started listing .217" Berdan large rifle primers made by Tula, but also says they are "Out of Stock." I've eMailed them to ask whether this means they are coming, with no response.
Berdan reloading has only one more step than Boxer reloading. The biggest problem has been getting the primers. The primers come in a zillion diameters, heights and hardnesses. The most common diameter is .217". If Graf/Tula is bringing them in, I sure hope they are harder than the PMC/Murom primers brought in some 10 years ago, which were really soft.
I reload the GP11 cases. I've used the NNY boxer primed cases in the past. I've had some split on their first firing. Screw that. Sold off all my virgin NNY cases. GP11 cases are plentiful and cheap. I use water to push out the old primer. I get a bit wet, but it's simple and cheap.
