Hello all. I have been enjoying your fourm for some time now thought I would join the fun.
Take a look at these two fine rifles that my father, son, and I picked up last fall at the CMP
SS.
The Garand
in a 5.8 SA Service Grade Special, with a new CMP/Boyds stock. The MW was a .5, with a TE of 1. This Service Grade Specials are truly new weapons. I was getting 10's and X's at 200 yards with only 9 clicks of elevation first time at the range.
The Carbine is a 1.6 (June 1943) Quality Hardware LGKTAustria return, with all the late war features. It has a MW of 1.5, with a TE of 3 on the factory Rockola barrel. I noticed that many in the store looked at it that day, but passed it up due to it having a pot belly stock. That didn't bother me because I feel in love with the aged green patina park, and the nice brown walnut stock.

I recently picked up a 1943 1903A3 4.7 Smith Corona with very low muzzle wear, an paperwork from the CMP on a auction site not to long ago (no pics yet). And man can this gun shoot. At 200 yards I have no problems getting all my shots in a 6" group with HXP surplus ammo. The stock is a correct SC, but has a few battle scars.
I enjoy shooting these old veterns more that new new rifles in our local CMP matches.
Take a look, and tell me what you think.

Hello
BC Mike here, WA USA
. Got plenty C&R bolt actions. My passion is Browning home built semi-auto 1919s and 1917A1. Next project is a semi-auto Vickers. Got a fledgling collection of wood ammo crates going on.
Good to be on board.

Hi. I have just become a member but have been buying and selling swords, rifles, daggers, etc. for quite some time on line. I am in no way an expert on these items and would appreciate any help provided especially in identification. I will also make available any item I ask about to fellow members on a first shot basis before going public. Thanks in advance and looking forward to hearing from you. Regards, Allen

Hello All:
New member accessing the forum, Am coming to the end of my collecting hobby soon and am trying to evaluate my collection. 73 years old and don't shoot much any more due to arthritis and other problems. Collection mostly WWI and WWII long rifles and pistols and associated ammo, but some modern weapons too. Also reloading equipment and supplies. Wife wouldn't know what to do with the collection if I passed, and doesn't want to fool with it anyway. Only son not interested and grandkids are all girls.
No rush to disburse, but I should probably start doing it.
Desire to sell to serious collectors, so I will be selling through the various forums. Will let you all know when the time comes.
Respectfully,
Bob37
