All auctions usually come down to two people bidding against one another. Can't argue with the results. Which are probably why CMPicon reserves certain specimens for auction while selling others at a fixed price in a luck of the draw operation. The good thing about an auction is that it provides a verifiable account of what something sold for instead of relying on an apocryphal story.
