    Calling Rapidrob

Please share the information on your rare prototype MkV trials rifle here.

I'm sure all the guys that were in on the discussions at surplusrifle before you had it deleted would like some closure on the subject.

I'm in the process of buying a MkV so I would be interested to know if any decision was made regarding the originality.
Mine are not the best, but they are not too bad. I can think of lots of Enfields I'd rather have but instead of constantly striving for more, sometimes it's good to be satisfied with what one has...

    Alan,

This Knowledge Libraryicon entry should give you all the information you would need when purchasing a No.1 Mk V.

    Exclamation

    Hi Guys ...

As a personal favor to me and for reasons I'm sure some participants of this thread are aware of, I'd appreciate it very much if this thread finished with Amatikuluicon's link pointing to an "all correct" example of a 1924 ShtLE No.1 MkV Rifle, which appears in our United Kingdom Milsurp Knowledge Library.

I'm sure the 117 picture virtual tour contained in that entry should be sufficient for Alan to make a part by part comparison as to the authenticity of any MkV he's looking at buying.

Thank you for everyone's consideration in helping me out with this one ...

    Regards,
    Doug
