I recently received one of the CMPicon's M1A1s (with European wood), and I was giving it a good cleaning. However, there is some dirt/grease in the hinges and the spring of the buttplate that I really can't get to. Is there a safe and easy way to removing the buttplate, so I can get to the source of the gunk?
