A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Paul, I appreciate that. However, believe me when I say I can more than hold my own. I am more than capable of not only handling issues, I am very capable of creating issues as well... why, for my last "paid vacation" over seas, my home command was taking bets as to me creating an international incident with a foreign country we were NOT at war with! I behaved, like I promised. As far as these old farts? Thats why I refer to them as "ole' farts"!!! I'm just being polite to those who have more advanced stages of physical and mental deterioration than me.

Come to think of it, I knew I should have taken that bet...
