I use to shoot steel plates at 100 and 200 yards with my M1icon and figured the best way to increase my "hits" was to install a target front sight. I took off the Redfield Olympic front sight from my M70 target and made-up a scope block for the gas cylinder. (note the WRA gas cylinder - thats when they were not important!) On the Redfield front sight, I used the blade and round hole in the center. I was using two apertures, the rear sight aperture and the front sight aperture. Really nice to use on the plates.Attachment 15384Attachment 15383
