I haven't tried the .303 as I have lots of Winchester and Dominion/IVI/Imperial brass left to do me a lifetime. However , bought 10 boxes (200 rounds) of 8x57IS, 170 grain, soft point hunting loads. It worked well in a couple of Mausers.
With that much hunting ammunition at hand, I just had to order a Husqvarna 96 Commercial 8x57 from Trade Ex. (Like we really can invent any excuse to buy another rifle.) It really likes this stuff, and shoots as well as Winchester or Remingtons. However, that's only one rifle, and another may be different.
It is reloadable, and I have used Igman 8x57 brass to make 9.3x57 brass, running them through a Hornady resizing die with one pass, after lubricating the inside of the necks. Didn't lose any cases.Information
