I'd just like to find one stock mag pouch period..Apparently canvas pouches can't be shipped to Canada

It is not a matter of canvas pouches. No military items can be sent across borders without an export license and approval.

I thought that only pertained to firearms and related items such as parts and optics. I've ordered many items from the States without any problems military clothing etc..I guess then these companies were big enough for the required permits or were violating the law..

Thanks for the clarification..So original GI mag pouches cannot be shipped as they were issued to the military, but reproductions are ok? Still think it's a little overboard. I remember crossing the boarder in 1992
picking up an M1
Garand for $180 and the only thing I had to do was declare it to Canada
Customs, show them my permit and pay the taxes. All they wanted was their share of money..Guess I'll just have to get a P.O box in the States, I'm only an hours drive out of Buffalo.
