Just noticed the M1
leaning on the truck running board. Does it have a pad on the butstock?

It's the grenade launching slip on recoil pad. The one I have wouldn't pad much, it's hard as a nut.

Hi Jim, I zoomed it up to 350% and can see it. I have one to. Agree not much padding. (at least not after being so old) Does yours have the flaming bomb on the back?.....Frank

Yes Frank, flaming bomb and US. I wouldn't even try to put it on a rifle because of lack of stretch so it just sits.

rifle with butt pad
I could be wrong, but I think it is a 1903A1 used for rifle grenades
