    Measure the rectangle with RMC in it. Should be o.40 x 0.76". The letters should be 0.30" The cartouche should be 1/2". Also "appears' to have the "faint line" as mentioned in Riesch's book. This is the best info I can provide. Hopefully others will chime in.

    Unfortunately, Rock-Ola stock parts seem to be the most often faked stock parts out there.....Frank

    P.S. have you noticed all of the stamps for sale on E-Bay? One has to wonder how and who uses them.

    well the stock doesnt seem to have that distinctive red tint that is the "tell tale" sign of old George's refinishing

    Take a good look at the crossed cannons in relation to the RMC and the direction they are pointing in.

    I seen that also........ But didn't want to throw out a guess because it's hard to tell with the picture of the stamp laying sideways.
    I hope it's real for the buyers sake.
