The second CMPicon Dane that I bought was a mid-war Springfeild ( R-17 , IIRC ) with a WW2 Winchester barrel held in place with a solid blued pin. The TE was 1 something with a bright , near new bore. The muzzle is 2 something and appears to have been lightly kissed with a crowning tool.
