The bigger problem with these is that the shipping would prpbably cost more than the chest is worth.
If you want to sell it, perhaps take it to a local gun show. I usually see them on tables here in Ontario, as well as C. No.7 (.22 caliber) transit chests ranging from $25 to $75.
You other choice would be to post a "Make an Offer" advertisement here in the Quartermaster Stores (click here), making sure you specify you prefer a local pickup as opposed to shipping it.

I think I would have to disagree with your evaluation. I have not seen a snipers chest go for $50 for quite some time. These days, one would almost be hard pressed to even find the Cno7 chests for that price.
I would expect a chest as nice as this one, still in it's original coat of paint, to see somewhere between $300 and $550. There are a lot more rifles around than chests, and many guys want to get the complete outfit together.
Personally, I find the array of chests (Enfield, sniper, sten, bren, mag chests, etc...)in my collection to consume the greater part of the gunroom. They may all soon be relegated out to one of the storage sheds outside.

The Cno7 chests are not worth anywhere near as much as the no15 chests. But where they were $10 or $20 for the Cno7 chests, they rarely show up for less than $50 these days, if they are complete and in decent shape. I had a small stack of them which I would drag to the various gunshows one at a time, and put on my table for $30 or $40. I have never had to bring one home yet. Often as not they go from my table over to another dealers table for a bit more money. And if all else fails, they end up on ebay with the word "sniper" thrown into the title somewhere, and tend to go for $100-250.
The no15 chests are another story. I rarely see these on the loose, and they are desirable enough that guys will take apart Cno7 chests and rework them into no15 chests. Again I will use ebay as a reference, and on there minimum $300 for a no15 chest, and the highest price I have seen was around $800 (along with a whole lot of postage to go overseas) for one of the Cno7 converted to no15 chests a year or so ago.
These price estimates are, as with all milsurp value estimates, only valid for yesterday. The price tomorrow will likely be higher. We will dream of the days when we could have picked up no15 chests for only $300 or so.

The boxes were in service from approx 41/42 until the rifles were withdrawn from service in the 80s and early 90s. There were approx 30,000 sniper rifles made, so I would wager there would have been 30,000 of these boxes or so. But don't let the 30,000 number make you think the box is common. Many of the rifles got separated from their chests over the years. The desire for most Enfield no4T owners is to have the accessories along with the basic scoped rifle.

I agree with stencollector. As an Enfield collector with a side specialty of No.4 T's I have purchased many "T's" without a chest just because the rifle and scope matched and I needed it for my collection. Then the hunt starts for a chest so consider yourself lucky you found one.
The last one I found cost me $300 plus shipping and it is far from mint. It is a converted Bren chest so it is an early girl and from the remains of a tag inside was in Greece for some time.
