    Maybe it would be helpful if the title of this thread were changed from "Enfield Catastrophic Failure..." to "Human Judgment Failure." Of course that would deprive the topic of significant sensationalism since human judgment failures are tediously commonplace while the various firearms labeled "Enfield" fail very seldom unless misused by humans displaying poor judgment.

    It seems the Internet is full of "expert" advice which just adds more confusion to the meaning of what is a DP rifle.

    Two questions.. Is there a season for them?
    Are there any caliber restrictions?
