Cleaning rod for the Lee Enfield carbine is a rare item and is somewhat unique in appearance with a weirdly spiralled head on the rod. Most were officially removed in the late 1890's as I recall which accounts for their scarcity.
The only one I personally know of is owned by a advanced collector with the handle Eggroll633over on Gunboards. I'd send him a note and see if he'd email you a pix or two of his LEC rod.
Good luck

					Lee Metford Carbine

							Hi
The Carbine is a Lee Metford, apparently the indication that it is a Lee Metford,is that there is no E stamped on the knox form indicating a Enfield Barrel.
Also the nose cap sight protectors are low also confirming a Lee Metford and the leather sight protector was approved in 1896 for the carbine.

Late production Lee Metford carbine - the clearing rod was the same as the Lee Enfield carbine and was removed in 1899 so I assume the Australians or whoever originally owned it did the same.

Okeydoke, the threads you need to use are 3/16 X 26. Female at the front and male where the clearing rod screws into the forend. These rods were used on a budy-budy basis and are individually too short for their purpose. One screws into the other. They are most easily reproduced by making the head and shaft seprtately. I've successfully made over 30 for carbine and rifle.
