    Anybody seen one of these?

My Birthday was yesterday, and one of my technicians gave me this. I thought it was pretty neat. He has a couple of carbines, and he knew my Winchester was special to me.

    Rustship,

Do you know where he got it?

I would like to have one to go with my metal Winchester Carbine knife.

I have four of these, made in 1995. I pick them up if the price is ok. I have seen them as high as $65, I have paid from $35 to $49 each for them. Just another item to add to the collection.

    Jim

    Jim,
I'm pretty sure these new ones are now being partly made in Japanicon. Scrimshaw has been doing the inlay on the man made Ivory of each scene and shipping them out to be fitted/assembled by Blue Grass Cutlery here in the states, Ohio I think. Best I can Recall any way.
Their earlier ones were made in the USAicon. They've made a number of WWII anniversary battle and WWII commemorative firearm knives.... Like the 50 year anniversary M1 carbine knife....etc.

Blue Grass Cutlery...... When you open this link, click on Winchester Knives, then look for your model number. http://www.bluegrasscutlery.com/blue...ery/index.html

Here are some like Rusty has, The Carbine, B.A.R. and Garand..

Winchester M1 carbine 4" folder on Gun Broker.

Same seller also has the Winchester M1 Garand 4" folder on Gun Broker.

    Thanks Charlie,

I noticed the scimshaw wasn't "A" quality. But it still was an interesting item. I think the Garandicon actually looks the best.

I had a BAR for a few years. Carbines and a few Garands now. I think I will contact this guy and see if I can get a group price. Maybe he has some others too.

Thanks again for doing the leg work.

    Jim

    Jim,
Checkout the 3 set model # W 07 0522 near the bottom of the page.
    http://www.bluegrasscutlery.com/blue...ery/index.html
I have this real collectors set from my Father. Only 2000 sets were made. Not sure on their value. Never planned on selling, just planning to pass along to my son.

    Later,
    Charlie
