O.K! I have been pulling too many night shifts, but am finally off for a few days so now I can follow up with a request for some photos of the marking in question. Also another pic is included to show that she was matched up at least twice with a scope. I did pull the stock and it is not numbered to the rest of the rifle.
is this an armorer's mark?
