The last time I saw a muzzle cover for an M14 it was on board the USS Alamo in 78 or so. I don't think they made it out into the collectors world.

I got two of them in my basement. Don't remember when or where I got them.They probably came from Springfield armory with my M1A's

Look at that picture close fellas. I don't think that is a muzzle cover. I think the photo was doctored. The slots can be seen quite clearly and there is too sharp of a line from barrel to "alleged cover" for the graininess of the rest of the picture.

Protector, muzzle 7790231
Bill H., the plastic protector is a clear plastic and you can see the slots of the suppressor when installed on the rifle. The photo gives the impression that the protector is white
