I have a fine checkered butt plate in nice shape. It was attached to a Springfield C-stock. I think on a previous install it had been on a straight stock or some stock with a smaller toe as the plate did not match up to the C stock, it had been shaved to match a smaller rifle butt. Attached is a picture of the plate mounted on my C-stock. You can see it is small. You can actually see a ghost line impression of the full size plate to judge how much of this plate has been shaved.
