Help with T3 Carbine
Does this look like the receiver has been welded ? I have experience welding and it looks like it has been to me, because of the discoloring on the weld joint in the middle and the dark heat marks on either side.
Thanks,
Harry

I can't tell by the picture about the weld but it is a regular carbine - not a T3.

Hi Harry,
First of all, welcome to the forum!
Just for clarification, is that your carbine in the photo, or is it one you've seen on an auction or for sale someplace, etc?
I noticed the string on the trigger guard, so I assumed it's for sale somewhere.
(But, you what they say about assuming)
If it's an auction, and not your own auction, you're allowed to post a link to the auction.
Below is a cropped and enlarged section of the photo you posted and I see the discoloration on the bolt, but I can't tell much for certain about the receiver at this resolution.
(Were you asking about the bolt?)

My eyes are giving me fits lately, and possibly one of the real experts can tell from this photo.
Regardless, please get back with us and I'm sure someone will be happy to help in any way they are able.
Again, welcome to our forum Harry
~ Harlan
