1911 Valuation Help
I just looked at a Colt 1911 SN 510xxx. Sorry, but I have not pics right now. It appears to be all correct except the grips and magazine. Correct stamps and no rebuild stamps. The finish is about 25%, but still it looks pretty good. The barrel is perfect inside. Anyone care to give an approx value range on this? I am trying to do a deal, but not quite sure on value. Thanks in advance.

It's pretty tough to give a dollar value without pictures but from what you have told us, it sounds like a shooter grade pistol worth little more than $650 to $750. IMO

I would think a mixmaster would be worth more than that, but I do thank you for your reply.

With the condition being at 25% and not having some of the correct parts, I don't think that I'm too far off. If you really like it, and it's a bit more than what I suggested, it's really up to you what you are willing to give for it. Here in the Pacific Northwest, the prices would be pretty close to what I said in my first post. A couple of months ago, I bought a 1918 Black Army for $800 that was all correct and about 60% condition.

You are probably correct. I guess I was just wanting it to be worth more. You kept me from making a poor decision. Thanks.
