Welcome to the addiction. Once you fire it, you will be stuck. I was about 10 when it bit me. Now I am 58. Only have one carbine, but have had one at least for the last 27-28 years or so!
Oh,. by the way....IF YOU DON'T SHOW PICTURES, IT ISN'T REAL!!! Hahahaha.

Welcome to the forum (AND the carbine addiction) monkeyhammer!
Looking forward to getting to know you (and your carbine)
It's great that you're interested enough get some books to do some studying. I've read about anything I can find, as many of these guys here have. The unique history of these guns is a great deal of their charm to me.

Welcome aboard Monkeyhammer. The barrel sounds right for the receiver. The mag release is probably an "M"???

I do not see any marking of the barrel band.
I will get a few pics up later.

Also, I believe your Q-RMC stock was made for a Quality Hardware carbine by Rock-ola. I will be corrected if I'm wrong.

Larry, you're right. Q-RMC (made by Rock-Ola) for QHMC.
