is not original! it may be a US customs requirment that required stuff to be marked from where it is from, shame it removes some of the value. No issue bayonet would ever be marked this way.

I've had a look in the Graham Priest book and it looks OK to me.
Hopefully this doesn't mean that the fakers have now corrected all the errors. ![LOL](images/smilies/lol.gif)

Leave it alone, it really doesn't hurt anything. On a common bayonet it may hurt the value to some collectors but on a scarce or rare item it does nothing to hurt the value.
