The reason why anyone gives a darn is that some limited production enfields had them, and these days there always seem to be folks finding these in various conditions who are motivated to restore them, hence the hunt for cut offs with no holes. I'm one of them, been looking for one to suit my 1930 enfield for several years. I've seen them on ebay about one per year but I haven't had the spare dough when they show up.Information
