Information needed on no.5 Carbine
I have a WWll dated Jungle Carbine i don't know much about. It's marked on the left side of the receiver as follows: No5MK1ROF(F) 4/45 L5476 Do i have anything out of the ordinary? What is it's approximate value? Overall condition: very good + w/ clean bright bore. I paid $60 for it 8-9 years ago at a gun show.

Nothing out of the ordinary, the price depends on exactly where you are when you sell it.

Value
From what I've been able to discern - doing lots of "window shopping" from the computer - your No.5 MkI - depending on matching numbers, overall condition and accessories - is probably worth somewhere in the $500 to $750 USD range with particularly fine examples going for over $1000. Pictures help us Forum types get a gander at what you're talking about so post a few pics if you can. Happy New Year!

No 5 mk 1
If it looked like these, (all matching) they are around 700.00 and up.

Where are these selling for $700.00---$1000?
Prices on the auction sites don't mean anything with 0 bids and the Enfield lists on Gunbroker and Auction Arms are full of high opening auctions with 0 bids--------but I suppose I could have missed a price spike.
Let me know if I am behind the curve and I'll move the '47 Beezer.

This one sold for 655.00 on GB 3 weeks ago. The magazine did not match the rifle serial no.
Enfield No 5 MK 1 ROF 4/46 Jungle Carbine SUPERB! : Bolt Action at GunBroker.com
If yours looked like this and all matching, it could fetch similar and above.

"Sling and Bayonet ALSO included..." is what that auction says.
This is why the thing caught the price that it did---the bayos are $175US or so, maybe more, I don't know.

655.00 for a non matching no 5 mk 1, albeit with bayonet.
What do you think this rifle would have brought if it were all matching.

A lot of No.5s have replacement magazines that have serial numbers were retro-marked or no serial number anyway.
And as has been said, No.5 bayonets on their own fetch good money.
