A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Greetings Ya'll-

I just joined up!!! Have enjoyed browsing this wonderful site . . . especially the Knowledge Libraryicon. I'm a middle age lifelong hunting and shooting enthusiast that is new to collecting. I eagerly await the arrival of my recently applied for C & R license. It certainly is assuring to know that a site as this exists. I look forward to learning and sharing the hobby with you!

Hello all, I'm basically a recreational shooter of modern firearms (mainly handguns), but after reading a ton of material about military surplus rifles I just bought my first: a K31icon. I guess I don't have to explain why I also have a longish list of "next" milsurp rifles........

    Hello everybody

Hi, folks. I'm new to the site and looking forward to learning a lot. I'm on various other forums here and there, always with the same username.

I live in Japanicon, but am from the USAicon. I lived in NC for 8 years before moving to Japan. I make sure to get out to the range every time I get home (at least once a year).

I have a few milsurp items and am cooperating with my dad on building a WWII collection from around the globe, focusing on rifles (which is still quite a large field).

That's it for now. I'll answer questions when I can and otherwise enjoy the wisdom of other members.

    See ya' on the boards.

    Kento

Another newcomer to milsurps.com, although an old (and consequently penniless) milsurp lover. I have had to let my C&R licenses expire without renewal or face financial ruin.

But just yesterday, there was this Springfield that looked just like an original NRA sporter ...

    Hello all,

I joined today, I have just started getting into M1icon carbines, and was looking for information on headspace, changing barrels, history etc.

    New Guy

    Hi All,

Been lurking for a while and finally decided to join. Pretty much a novice on military weapons so I won't have much advise, just lots of questions.

Hello all. I'm new to the milsurp world, just traded for a 1965 Ishy Enfield 7.62. Still learning the ins and outs but coming along nicely. My Ishy cleaned up decent only problem was getting the cosmolineicon out of the stock. Turns out I ended up with an all numbers matching rifle, nose cap, stock receiver, barrel, bolt, rear sight and mag.

Hi guys, new member here. I'm retired military getting on in years. I've always been interested in guns and shooting but these days it seems I tend to read more about it than I actually shoot. As you can see I'm not much of a talker.
