I'll try and post some more pics in the next few days of all the parts. I may offer it up for sale. Like I said earlier I'm not into collecting.

Also does any one know a site for collector large munitions I have a 1 pound high explosive torpede defense collector round and a 1941 37mm complete defused I would like to get rid of,but don't any values. The bomb squad took the grenade, said it was still live

Here's pics of the stock. I don't have the butt plate or barrel swivels. Bought a milled trigger guard off GB. Have the front site and hood, M springs and follower

Oh sure that stock is in terrible shape and probably not worth ,, say $250. Myflatline that ‘C’ stock is probably worth more than all the metal parts put together. You are not pulling our leg are you?

I do not see any inspection marks so most likely came from DMC, but look it over carefully especially in the cut-out for the mag. cut-off and the tip. Also some more detailed photos of the action area, I can not see the stock-reinforcing bolts???

Please do not cut it or modify that stock in anyway.

If you would like to return your M1903 to original configuration, that would be a good stock to go with.

If you deside to finish that stock,, please use no Boiled Linseed Oil, use only Raw Linseed Oil or Tung Oil (and not a Tung Oil Finish). If you use BLOicon it will turn very dark almost black over the years and that is not what you would want to give to your Son. Anyway the US military never used BLOicon only RLO.

45, No leg pulling at all. I cannot find any inspection marks, and yes it has the reinforcing bolts. I do not plan to cut or modify the stock in any way.
The decisions I'm facing now are
Sell all the parts and buy a different weapon
sell just the stock and keep the barrel and reciever ( I know how most of you feel about that and completely understand )

I have no idea of values, that is why I came here for advice, not games.

What is DMC? Also I see where people talk about a # on the bolt handle, this bolt has no markings. Keep asking questions and I'll keep trying to answer

    Thanks

I'll have to disagree with 45B20. That stock is not worth $250, in my opinion. It appears to be a WWII replacement C-stock. It is inletted for the A3 recoil lug. It's been sanded. It looks like it needs a little attention (some oil). Maybe $100-125, tops.

He meant to say DCM (Director of Civilian Marksmanship). It is now called CMPicon (Civilian Marksmanship Program).
