My First!

I am a new member and my friend introduced to this website. The same Milsurp addicted friend was kind enough to sell me one of his many long branches and I have recently become owner of a beautiful 1944 No 4 Mk 1.

He said "Your going to get addicted now" and I said "Yeah right."

Well I have become a milsurp addict. I had this list of guns I wanted, mixuture of new and old and pretty much the new ones have been scratched off and replaced by old ones.

I want a P14, A Long Branch Enflied sniper, a M19034A Springfield Sniper etc.. etc..

I wish I had the pocket book to pay for all this. For now I will have to be satisfied with just seeing pictures of the beautiful guns that come up for sale on the board and whisper under my breath "you bastard, that should be my gun."

Congratulations on becoming infected

Soon you'll be reading posts and noticing silly things like in 1944, Longbranch made the No.4 Mark 1*

The major difference between the Mark I and Mark I* was in the bolt release arrangement. The Mark I* had the cut out in the bolt way to rotate the bolt head up and allow the removal of the bolt from the action.

I've never found a cure for the infection
