    Hello from Italy

Hi, I am a new member from Italyicon, it's a pleasure for me to be here with you all. This forum is very interesting and I'm sure I will learn a lot of things.
I am not a collector, I love to shoot with my rifles and I take a part in the italian "service rifles" championship using my Carl Gustafs.

    Ciao

    Post Hello fellow collectors!

I found this board last October and then promptly lost it. I am a WW1 collector of all combatant nations. I have concentrated in Austriaicon and Franceicon mostly but have all other countries as well. I am therefore a generalist WWI collector and not a expert. I've been collecting for only 15 years. Hopefully I can lend some small knowledge to the group.

Not Canadian But Just As Cold

Hello, finally went through the registration thing---so Hello to Badger, Claven and the rest of you.

Born at Elmendorf AFB hospital in 1951---so I know what cold is.
Currently residing in Omaha, Nebraska which gets all the North Wind you guys can't use.
    Thanks for that, I guess.

I have lots of Enfields, some Mosins and some Mausers. Also Frenchicon, Dutch, Swissicon, Italianicon, US, Danishicon, Norwegianicon, Japaneseicon and Swedishicon bolt rifles.
There are a couple of MkIV Martinis, a Vetterli, an 1873 Trapdoor and a stunning Two Band Canadianicon Snider representing the smokepoles.
So I'm armed to the teeth.

    Hello,

I've been a member here for a bit and figured this would be as good a time as any to make introductions. I'm a former US Marine and have lived up here in the NW corner of the US for over 30 years now. My main collecting interest is Britishicon and Commonwealth weapons from the early cartridge weapons up to the early 1950s. My collection ranges from a really beautiful Snider cavalry carbine to a well used Irish contract No.4 Mk2...with the odd Martini and a lot of Lee Enfields in between. Latest acquisition is a very nice un-messed with '43 No.2 Mk.1** revolver.

The collection also consists of several Garands, Mausers, a K31icon, a Mosin 91/30, a few very nice Italianicon rifles, a couple of Arisakaicon T-99s, the odd more modern combloc weapon, and a nice old Mle 1873 Ordnance revolver (Frenchicon). Pretty eclectic bunch, but I love 'em all.

At any rate, I've been a fan of this site since I first ran across it, and hope to contribute.
