    It is probably the same one I sent you the data on. Without pulling it out of the tube, I believe it is dated 1-38. The Star Gage record card is dated 2-11-38. It also came with the original sales receipt.

    You might be interested to learn that I have data on a second NRA sporter barrel, also new in the tube, dated 5-38 which includes a star gauge record card dated 6-14-38 and manufactured on the same W.O. # 333-1.

    Springfield Armory had it's own shipping tape. This is the tube the barrel was shipped in.
