Just signed up. I have a modest collection of Enfields including a No1 MkV & No1 MkVI SMLE plus a L42A1 then the more common examples. Also have a Martini Enfield Artillery Carbine And Martini Enfield Rifle
. For my sins I am secretary of the Lee Enfield Rifle Association here in the UK
. Will hopefully be able to add some value with my little bit of knowledge gained over the years.

New to Milsurps.
Well I guess you have to start somewhere if you want to go anywhere. I am located in eastern Ontario and found this site througth Gunnutz. Presently I am recieving a Mauser 71/84 made in 1887 and I am in the process of buying a Yugo
Mauser 1948BO . I thought I would give a couple milsurps a try and see what I think. Maybe post some pics when they arrive. THKX Bob

Hello All
Hello All
Very happy to have found this site. I have been a collector of WWI, WW2 Canadian
Military Insignia, uniforms and kit, etc for years and am now looking forward to adding the matching firearms to my collection. Very grateful for the education this site provides. Looking for a Ross, No. 1 MkIII* and Long Branch. Will pay a premium for nice pieces! Keeping my eye on your Quartermaster Stores.
Cheers,
James

Newbie
Hi all - I've been a 'lurker' over on the Jouster
(CSP) Lee Enfield forum - decided to join in here...
I've been a long-time fan of the No 4 Lee Enfield - grew up in the UK
and shot them in the Cadets at school - early 70's. Now happily transplanted to the US (Phoenix) where I can legally indulge... have 7 and counting, including 4 Mk 2 (1955 Fazakerleys), a 43 Longbranch, a 43 Maltby and a 43 BSA.
Looking forward to hearing about the experiences of the experts here.

Hello everyone, I'm new to this site, I've kept tabs on gunboards for quite awhile and then I noticed this site and what a great resource it is and I had to join. I'm a big milsurp fan. I'm pretty heavily into the Lee Enfields but I also enjoy other milsurps as well. Thanks to all who make this site possible.

Until I starting reading about you guys I though I was the only additcted gun buyer out there. I can never get enough. Now it has reached the point of 'critical mass'. I don't know exactly how many guns I have and I still want more.. Help.
