After getting whacked in the head for 10 weeks about it. I prefer "weapon" as a general reference for all of them, but that really ****es off the antis. I've found that you get people's attention better when you tell them to "Watch where you are pointing that weapon". Kind of brings them back to reality about what is in their hands.
