Guys,
I wasn't really interested in doing a WalMart: good or evil? thread ..... This particular case was interesting because it took a lot of work by a big non-profit to stop WalMart from taking it's next bite out of what should be sacred ground. If they chose that spot, it was because their site selection people told them it was the best available place for their store.
I guss they gave it up after it caused so much controversy. WalMart generally is slow to react .....
Anyway, I can remember when WalMart bragged that it sold "made in USA" whenever possible. That was a while ago. I buy my gun-and-hunting-related stuff from locally-owned shops. Or sometimes off the internet (30-40 brass for instance). I could care less if Wally World sells guns and ammo, I don't enjoy shopping there.
So I can see how easy it is to see red and hijack the thread when you hear (read) the word "WalMart"
