    Sear, and hammer M1A1..592534

    Unlike my other Inlands, there is no maker name on top of this sear, must be on side, and can anyone make out the hammer manufacturer?..Im not removing the parts.."S" undeneath op slide box, and 4 underneath trigger housing lug

    NL 346 does report the letter with serifs sometimes seen under the box
    From 346, Im thinking it has to be "HI" on the hammer

    I think the hammer is I-I, some Inland sears were marked BI on the left side. I don't remember seeing a HI with serfs, but all I-I that I have seen had serfs.

    It is an I but it is after an H. not another I . Hemphill hammers are marked H.I. and HI

    There are no periods after the letters in the I-I mark.

    Brian, would you say the hammer on my 265k Inland is the same? Looks that way.

    No serifs on yours G26, the info ccnl on pg 346-20 shows HI, or H.I. both with serifs
