A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. I kinda fell into this. Got my first Garand, a '43 Springfield 2 years ago, then compounded the problem with Harrington last year. The disease has been aggravated with the addition of an M1icon carbine, an early '43 Inland, last week.
The wife prays for a cure, but I know there is none.

    Thumbs up

Hi all, while I joined up a couple years ago I have definitely not been an active member. No longer shall I be idle. I am a young collector, just graduated college a few months back, and am eager ignore student loans in favour of rifles. Love the forums, the amount of knowledge here is amazing, and everyone is so helpful and accommodating. Thank you all
