last round popping out

Hi,

after I destocked the rifle I checked again the fit of receiver, mag box follower etc. The gap between mag box and action surely comes from the rear screw being too long to press the parts together. After I put everything together, leaving off the folloewer, I noticed a 2mm gap between mag box and receiver with the screws tightened. So I guess the stock should be modified to set the mag box deeper and the screw should be shortened to give a tight fit without any gap. Sorry for my awkward description of those things, I'm mostly a gun user, not adapted to do more work on my guns than to unscrew parts and clean them...

Hi,

today I tried loading the rifle with ammo fed from stripper clips. Interestingly, then all the rounds sit well in the mag box and the last round doesn't pop out when I eject the second last one. When I load the same rounds one after another in the mag box not using a stripper clip, the first one won't stick in it and pops out, as well as it pops out when being the last one in the mag box after ejecting the second last one. Strange behaviour of an otherwise perfect rifle ... or is this an user error?

Perhaps a user error. Just practice and repeat...
