I have them for the Garand, M14 and M16. I also have a bunch of colored chamber flags used by NPM for the Carbine.
I cannot find the part numbers for the M1 or M14. If I could, I could get a good idea when they were developed.
There is a possibility they were strictly used by Rock Island. I have found that RI had a series of items, with their own drawing numbers, that were used within the facility and not elsewhere. The reason I suspect that is:- I have never seen them in a manual
- The M16 Flags were released by RI circa 1984 and they too are not listed in any manuals either
That is in the past and does not apply to the last 15 years.

Those look a lot like the chamber flags I saw in use at Camp Pendleton in 1976. On Okinawa in 1975 we used empty stripper clips, or nothing.
