Bullets for 7.5 Swiss?
Has anyone reloaded for this round? The bullet diameter used seems to be .306" and I can't find anything very close to that besides the standard .308". What will work? Thanks

So a .308 bullet is acceptable? Is this what most use? Sorry for the questions.

Yes. it is the bullet you have to use. I reloaded for my Gewehr 1911 with the components from Lapua and my favourite ones were the 170 grs Lock Base and the 185grs Silver Scenar. Both had great accuracy. I used them the most at 300m shooting and there the 170grs bullet had some advantages. It depends on what distance you will use your rifle. There are some good load data´s for 100m shooting with H&N copper plated lead bullets at their website. But this loads are mild loads so you won´t get them out at 300 meters with any good accuracy. I made good experiences with the VV N140 powder.

I've had great results with the .308 Sierra 168gr Match Kings as well as the 168gr Hornady's. As far as powder goes the VV N140 and Benchmark have given good groupings with the above 2 bullets in my K31
's.

I'm gonna be starting out with what I already have. IMR 4064 and Winchester .308" 147gr FMJBT loaded into Privi brass.
I'm really new to reloading (about one week in), but my 7.62x54r worked out very well at the range today. Although I do need to slug the barrel as I'm sure .310" bullets will be more adequate judging by most peoples experience with m91/30's.

Give them a try but with the 170grs. LockBase they will be better( closer to the original bullet weight)

The hole in the 7 is from 3 rounds.
