M1 Carbine Parts help!
Well I cant seem to find one anywhere on the internet, but im looking for a WRA type III barrel band and how much one might cost in good not mint, but goond clean condition.
I have a Type III barrel band, marked C on the swivel side - post war rebuild part made by C. Cowles & Co, in 1954 and I was told that was not a correct WRA part.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. , Jay

Can you post a pic?
Cowles made them for WWII Winchester production.
The post war ones were marked differantly, but still with just a C

I sure can.
It doesnt have to be WW2 production just as long as its a WRA part. Will thease pictures help?

If it helps, this is the late-war production band on the high serial Winchesters. Note that the large "C" is centered.

Is the one I have a WRA part made in 54' or not? If not then what would a decent condition type III WRA band sell for?
