Andy, welcome. I wish I could help you but I'm not that sharp on the M14
. Good to see you here from the "G"!

"no marks" on all the above are fine, AFAIK. TRW stocks are fairly distinctive in appearance- photos would help here.

Your hammer is WRA. I don't know about the safety. I don't think the flash hider or gas parts are marked.

Gas cylinder has just been rubbed upon a bit- It's stainless steel, so no real worries, unless you try and refinish it conventional "parkerizing".
Stock is likely not orginal to the rifle- TRW's are a bit blocky, and have sort of a blackish stain in the birch wood, typically. Frankly, they didn't make their own stocks anyway (subcontracted) and I prefer the walnut so why change it?!

well the gas cylinder appear to be polished. all the parts, inside included, is bright... so i will replace it.
the stock is a wonderful stock.. but it should be SA production..
i ll change it when i ll find a good TRW
if u know someone have on sale, please let me know

I don't think you can parkerize a gas cylinder because they are stainless steel. The were usually painted with a black enamel and baked in an oven.
